More Seoul, South Korea Photos

Being able to ride in a hot air balloon was one of the attractions at the Hi Seoul Festival back in May of
this year. Unfortunately, when my friend and I arrived, hoping to experience one of the highlights of this
festival for a mere 1200KRW (~$1.50), we were disappointed by the strong winds. To add to the
frustrations that afternoon, it had taken us a few hours to find this area in Seoul where the hot air balloon
rides were taking place since there were no directions on the program guide. In the end, there was a lot
of walking involved and no hot air balloon ride!!!

All of these kids (and their parents) were waiting for the wind to die down as well so that they could take
a ride in the hot air balloons. To entertain the kids, the volunteer crew decided to take out an old hot air
balloon for the kids to play with. Remember the days when we used to play with a parachute in elementary
school? It was the best!
